This DS was certainly sold the first day of the Paris Auto Show where 12,000 orders were taken. This one is #5199! Look at the pictures to get a clue on the earliest models and the many changes made as they began to learn how to mass produce these wonderful cars!

All of the pictures in this post are courtesy of the CitroenDSID google group (https://groups.io/g/CitroenDSID). This group is a compliation of older groups that have been around for nearly 30 years and have a wealth of information, data, manuals, pictures, files and wonderful comraderie, managed by Mark Bardenwerper and a vast amount of information written and photographed by Tony Jackson. If you own, are restoring, want to own, selling or purchasing a Citroen D model, The group will be extremely helpful.
